Prospective Presenters 2019-06-11T13:49:59+00:00

Please Submit Presentation Proposals

We are quickly approaching the 2019 Advanced Analytics Summit. The meeting will take place October 17 and 18, 2019, at the University of Pittsburgh. Information on registration and accommodations will be made available soon.

The keynote address will be made by Dr. Amelia Parnell, Vice President for Research and Policy at the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), where she directs the Research and Policy Institute. She is the co-editor of the book The Analytics Revolution in Higher Education, which discusses the paradigm shift taking place in higher education.

I would like to invite you to consider presenting at this year’s summit. If you are interested, please submit your proposal through this online form. You can select one of two presentation options: a panel discussion or a case study. In both instances, we ask that you present on a situation or experience that was addressed through the use of advanced analytics (e.g., machine learning, statistical models, artificial intelligence).

Presentations at panel discussions will be 15 minutes in length and grouped with similar presentations, followed by a 15-minute group discussion. Case studies will run for 30 minutes with a 15-minute group discussion. Case study sessions are intended to provide more detail on the analytics methods and their results than the panel discussions would provide.

If you would like to present at this year’s meeting, please submit your information. Those selected to present will be notified by the end of June.
